Our hotel in the Var region is beside Gigaro beach, a vast expanse of pale sand between the Mediterranean on the one side, and pinewoods and hiking trails on the other, that lead to the protected site of Cap Lardier. On a clear day, you can admire the Iles du Levant in the distance.
In the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the surroundings of our seaside hotel on the Côte d’Azur have a particularly plentiful selection of tourist attractions. Cavalaire Bay, protected by pinewoods and the natural barrier of the Maures Massif, stretches out four kilometres of pale sand. Close by, Cap Lardier, accessible on foot or by boat, is a protected natural site, where you can observe birds from protected species.
At Saint-Tropez, only 12 kilometres from the hotel, you can satisfy your appetite for shopping, and in the surrounding hilltop villages, you can explore the little alleyways and cobbled streets typical of Provence.
With the beauty of its landscapes, and the comfort of its beaches and natural, protected sites, the seaside resort of La Croix-Valmer is the delightful highlight of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Overlooked by the Maures Cassif, on the coastline, where inlets of fine sand lie next to rocky headlands, the resort faces the Iles du Levant and the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros (first national marine park established in Europe), accessible by boat.
Our hotel in La Croix-Valmer is an excellent departure point for hiking to Cap Lardier or Taillat, or for enjoying various watersports. In the village, surrounded by vines, the Roman remains at Pardigon lie next to the Belle-Epoque buildings.
